Overview
- Bandai Namco pushed a cross-platform patch on Thursday that rolls out ahead of the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 launch scheduled for July 10, 2026 and brings new content and fixes to all platforms.
- The Switch 2 version includes a built-in Graphics Mode that lets players pick Quality Mode for 4K and HDR at up to 30 FPS or Performance Mode for Full HD at up to 60 FPS depending on TV support.
- The update adds Terriermon Assistant as a playable option via Mode Change from Terriermon and a Photo Mode for field exploration, plus a Digifarm screen to check Digivolution conditions.
- Patch notes list concrete fixes, including a Digifarm training timer bug that stopped progress at the 999:59 playtime cap and a progression-blocking bug in the main mission “The God of Speed’s Wish.”
- Time Stranger is a turn-based Digimon RPG with more than 450 collectible Digimon, cross-platform releases on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC, and a June demo that allowed players to carry opening-chapter saves into the full game.
