Dhami Opens Food and Mushroom Plants in Haridwar as Uttarakhand Rolls Out Jobs Push

- On December 20, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the MB Food Processing Plant at Buggawala and a mushroom processing unit in Haridwar, then inspected their operations.
- He launched a Mushroom Village under the ‘From Self-Employment to Employment’ programme, describing it as a platform to lift farmer earnings and spur local enterprise.
- Dhami highlighted the State Millet Mission, Apple Mission and Green Growth efforts, alongside a wheat purchase bonus and the establishment of 350 polyhouses with about Rs 115 crore in support.

- A day earlier he sought Union help to address rising human–wildlife conflict, receiving assurances from Minister Bhupender Yadav, and he reviewed free Agniveer recruitment training facilities in Dehradun.
