Destroy Any Website Lets Players Blow Up Any Page in a Browser

The free Sprite Fusion game has gone viral because it turns pasted URLs into playable, destructible pixel-art levels while showcasing the developer’s AI sprite tools.

Overview

  • The game by France-based developer Hugo Duprez launched in late September and has spread rapidly online as players share clips and reactions.
  • Players paste a URL and the game parses the page’s text, images and elements into platforms and breakable objects that a stickman character can run on and destroy.
  • Controls are simple and familiar with WASD or arrow movement, mouse aiming and seven weapons including pistol, shotgun, rocket, railgun, flamethrower and a chaotic “Too Much” mode.
  • A room-based multiplayer mode supports up to six players to race for kills, and early user responses have described the experience as fun and oddly therapeutic.
  • The project also serves as a demo for Sprite Fusion’s AI-assisted pixel-art and ‘vibe code’ tools, though some URLs fail to load and return errors so it does not work with every site.
