- San Bernardino County deputies say the sequence began when power to a Chino Hills home was cut and the homeowner was shot and forced into a car trunk on Wednesday night.
- Deputies stopped the fleeing Nissan Altima and ordered the two occupants out, and body camera and home surveillance footage show the driver walking to the open trunk and firing into it before deputies returned fire.
- Both the driver and the man found in the trunk were pronounced dead at the scene and no deputies were injured, while the passenger surrendered and was taken into custody.
- Authorities identified the victim as 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer and the suspects as 67-year-old Zhengfeng Bo, who was shot and killed by deputies, and 66-year-old Jianquan Bo, who was arrested and booked on murder and kidnapping charges.
