Delta Unveils Next-Gen Delta One Suites for 2027 A350-1000

The $1 billion cabin refresh leans into fast-growing premium demand to lift revenue and give travelers a more consistent long-haul experience.

Overview

  • Delta, which announced the upgrade Monday, introduced a new Delta One suite with a three-inch longer lie-flat bed, sliding door, 24-inch 4K screen with Bluetooth, wireless charging, and a self-serve refreshment station.
  • The suite will enter service on new Airbus A350-1000 jets in early 2027, with a premium-heavy layout and about 50 business-class suites reported across outlets.
  • Delta plans a nose-to-tail refresh of 42 Airbus A330-200/300s starting later in 2026, adding Delta One suites with doors for the first time and upgrading every cabin with larger 4K screens, Bluetooth, power, memory-foam cushions, and an extra inch of legroom in coach.
  • The program is part of roughly $1 billion in cabin investments as Delta targets higher-yield seats, with premium ticket revenue up about 14% in the first quarter and a goal of 90% of Delta One seats having sliding doors by 2030.
  • The seat, built on Thompson Aero Seating’s new VantageNOVA platform with a next-gen Thales entertainment system, makes Delta the launch customer and adds user-friendly touches like tactile seat controls, improved storage, and accessibility upgrades.
