Delta Reveals Next-Generation Delta One Suites for A350-1000 With 2027 Debut

The move targets surging demand for higher-priced seats following a 14% jump in premium revenue.

Overview

  • Delta, which announced the upgrade Monday, will debut its VantageNOVA Delta One suites on new Airbus A350-1000 jets starting in early 2027.
  • The new suites add sliding doors, lie-flat beds three inches longer, pillow-top memory-foam cushioning, 24-inch 4K Bluetooth screens, wireless charging, and a self-serve refreshment station.
  • Delta is the launch customer for Thompson Aero Seating’s VantageNOVA design and has 20 A350-1000s on order.
  • Starting in September, Delta will retrofit 42 older A330-200/300 aircraft nose-to-tail with forward-facing Delta One suites on the Vantage XL platform to create a more consistent cabin experience.
  • Delta targets 90% of Delta One seats to be suites by 2030, will retire older 767s rather than add doors, and is pushing premium growth as rivals roll out new business-class products.
