Delhi University Reschedules PG, Professional Exams Set for May 20–25
Departments will submit new date-sheets for approval ahead of DU publishing the timetable online.
Overview
- Delhi University said in an April 29 notification that no postgraduate or professional exams will be held from May 20 to May 25 and that these papers will be rescheduled.
- The order, signed by the Controller of Examinations, cited “unavoidable circumstances” and offered no further reason.
- Departments must draft revised date-sheets for the competent authority’s approval and then post the approved schedule on notice boards and on du.ac.in.
- DU stated that examinations for other programmes during the same period will proceed on the existing timetable.
- Students and teachers told local media the change may help those sitting the May 24 civil services prelims, though some now face travel losses and possible overlap with the June 22–30 UGC NET window.
