Overview
- The registrar issued the official academic calendar on July 1, 2026, which requires odd-semester (I/III/V/VII) classes to begin on July 28, 2026.
- For odd semesters the university set an autumn vacation from October 18–25, dispersal and practical exams from November 20, theory exams beginning December 4, and a winter break from December 25–31.
- Even semesters (II/IV/VI/VIII) are scheduled to start on January 1, 2027, with a mid-semester break March 21–28, dispersal and practicals from April 30, theory exams from May 13, and summer vacation June 3–July 20, 2027.
- To align the sessions the notice says the current 2025–26 summer vacation may be extended from July 20 to July 27, 2026, a change that will affect returning students, colleges and exam planning.
- The university also published a detailed CSAS postgraduate admissions timetable and timed the calendar release during ongoing UG admissions to guide enrollment, orientation and administrative preparations.
