Delhi Night Guard Found Dead at Hospital Construction Site

Overview

• Police identified the deceased as 37-year-old Sunil Kumar, a night-duty guard at the under-construction hospital site in Sultanpuri near Jalebi Chowk.
• He reported for duty at about 8 pm and did not return home the next morning, which led his family to file a missing-person call.
• Officers found his body in bushes inside the site’s boundary where there was no electricity, and they moved it to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri.
• A senior officer said there were no visible external injuries and that the cause of death will be established by the post-mortem examination.
