Overview
- DMRC has redesignated the Indraprastha–Inderlok stretch of Phase IV and the RK Ashram–Indraprastha link of Phase V(A) as one continuous Magenta Line from Botanical Garden to Inderlok.
- Once complete, the corridor will span roughly 89 km with 65 stations, of which 40 will be underground.
- The line will feature 21 interchange stations, including four triple interchanges at Central Secretariat, Azadpur, New Delhi and Inderlok.
- DMRC says the entire corridor will operate as a fully driverless metro once it is commissioned.
- Engineering highlights include Haiderpur Badli Mor as the network’s highest elevated station and Hauz Khas as the deepest underground station.
