Delhi, Indian Oil Ink CSR MoU for Flyover Beautification, Water ATMs, Hospital Equipment

The pact reflects a broader strategy to tap corporate resources for city maintenance.

Overview

  • The MoU targets the IIT Delhi, Panchsheel, Punjabi Bagh and Chirag Delhi flyovers, Mukarba Chowk, and a 500‑metre stretch of Aurobindo Marg.
  • IOCL will handle beautification and upkeep of the spaces beneath five flyovers as part of its corporate social responsibility.
  • Lok Nayak Hospital will get MRI and CT scan machines, and the Delhi State Cancer Institute will receive a high‑energy linear accelerator.
  • Eight water ATMs with five‑stage filtration and 2,000 litres‑per‑hour capacity will be set up across selected sites.
  • Three DTC depots will be upgraded into modern energy hubs and 250 electric buses will carry eco‑branding, with the signing attended by CM Rekha Gupta and key ministers, following a separate GMR maintenance pact announced last week.
