- Designer Alan Tipp filed the federal complaint in January 2025 and says he created the P21ME/PRIME and TRUTH logos in 2011 and was never paid for them.
- Tipp asks the court to void a 2011 work-for-hire agreement, cancel trademark registrations, block further use of the designs, and award more than $75,000 in damages.
- Sanders and his lawyers deny the claims and on Aug. 21 filed court papers saying the logos trace to an April 2011 Under Armour endorsement and third-party assignments that they say justify current use.
