David Coleman Wins US Poker Open $25K Main Event

The result secured Brock Wilson’s overall crown in a points race settled by the finale.

Overview

  • At the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas on Wednesday, David Coleman beat Kristen Foxen heads-up to claim $420,000 in the 48-entry finale.
  • Seven players returned for Day 2, with the top finishers paid as follows: Coleman $420,000, Foxen $264,000, Richard Green $174,000, Darren Elias $126,000, Jesse Lonis $96,000.
  • Cherish Andrews needed a win to pass Brock Wilson for the series title, but her sixth-place finish locked in Wilson’s Player of the Series award.
  • Wilson’s series win is his second straight major PokerGO Tour title after last month’s PokerGO Cup, built on four cashes that included two victories.
  • Women posted a landmark showing as Kristen Foxen, Cherish Andrews and Ebony Kenney all made the final table, and two women finished in the USPO Top Five standings for the first time.
