Overview
- A DART train struck a box truck on Bryan Street near the Pearl/Arts District station, and aerial images showed the truck overturned in front of the train.
- People who were trapped inside the overturned truck were helped free by bystanders before Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived on scene.
- Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed four people were taken to hospital and said at least two of the injured were passengers on the train.
- DART began using shuttle buses to bypass the affected segment with service between Victory and Deep Ellum and between EBJ/Union and Pearl/Arts District while delays continue.
