Daniel Stern’s Solicitation Case Dismissed After Diversion in Ventura County

Prosecutors described the resolution as their routine approach to first-time prostitution offenses.

Overview

  • Senior Deputy District Attorney Twyla Atmore told Judge Paul Baelly on Feb. 6 that the case was being thrown out.
  • Defense attorney Blair Berk said the matter was dismissed with prejudice after Stern completed a diversion program.
  • The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said he finished an education class and earned a dismissal, which it called standard for first-time cases.
  • The charge arose from a Dec. 10, 2025 Camarillo hotel sting in which Stern was cited and released, with a misdemeanor filed on Jan. 12.
  • Following the January charge, ABC recast his role in the pilot Do You Want Kids?, and there is no update on future acting projects.
