Overview
- A 40-year-old motorcyclist from St Helens was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision with a lorry on the westbound A580 in Haydock at around 11pm on Monday.
- Officers say one HGV struck the motorcycle and a second HGV may have been indirectly involved in the events leading up to the crash.
- Two men were initially arrested in connection with the collision but have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
