D’A Barcelona Launches 16th Edition With 122 Films and an Auteur-Driven Focus

Programming blends tributes, masterclasses, and project-development labs to cement the festival’s role as a European hub for independent cinema.

  • The festival runs March 19–29 across Barcelona venues including the CCCB, Filmoteca de Catalunya, and Aribau cinemas, presenting 122 films with 27 world premieres, 47 Catalan productions, 24 debut features, 55 works by women, and 49 shorts.
