Cyient Launches India’s First GaN Power IC Family Using Navitas Technology

Overview

• Cyient Semiconductors, which introduced seven GaN power ICs Monday, helped send Navitas shares up about 18% to a 52-week high.
• The licensing deal makes Cyient a second source for select Navitas parts already in mass production to strengthen local supply.
• The first wave features seven integrated 650 V devices in DPAK packages with built-in drive, control, protection, EMI management, and current sensing.
• The portfolio targets power needs in AI data centers, telecom equipment, consumer fast chargers, industrial supplies, and e-mobility chargers.
