Crimson Desert’s First Post-Launch Patch Targets Keyboard-Mouse Controls With Storage and Fast-Travel Upgrades

Pearl Abyss begins an iterative fix plan following player complaints about the control scheme.

Overview

  • Pearl Abyss released patch 1.00.03, now live on Steam and PlayStation with Xbox and the Epic Games Store to follow.
  • The update adds Private Storage at Hernand and Howling Hill Camp and increases Abyss Nexus teleport points to ease traversal.
  • Keyboard-and-mouse changes improve input and UI responsiveness and add default shortcuts for Inventory (I), Skills (K), Journal (J) and Map (M).
  • Balance and quality-of-life tweaks lower health and attack for select enemies and bosses, boost healing from food, ease QTEs and minigames, and reduce stamina costs for blocking and Nature’s Grasp.
  • A separate PS5 hotfix (1.00.04 / update 1.000.151) resolves a character-switch bug, with the studio promising further control updates and working on Intel Arc GPU compatibility.
