Overview
- Pearl Abyss released patch 1.000.398 (game version 1.14.00) on July 16, 2026 that activates cross-save on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and the Epic Games Store while the Mac App Store update is pending.
- Players must link a Pearl Abyss ID to their platform accounts to enable cross-save and each ID supports one shared save slot with the option to link and unlink accounts.
- Items bought from platform stores do not move with a cross-save and will appear disabled on platforms where they were not purchased until bought again on that store.
- The July 16 update also applies combat, quest, sound and localization fixes and Pearl Abyss published a list of remaining known issues that includes Mac-specific problems and GPU driver-related crashes.
- The change lets players pick up progress on different devices without rebuilding characters but preserves platform-specific monetization, and Pearl Abyss says it will continue work on broader updates and DLC while tracking platform bugs.
