CoreWeave Brings Live GPUs to Stockholm With Conapto Colocation

The live Stockholm site speeds the company’s European buildout and heightens scrutiny on its ability to turn a large contracted pipeline into revenue.

Overview

  • CoreWeave signed a colocation partnership with Swedish operator Conapto and has initial workloads running in Conapto’s Stockholm 4 South facility using 100% renewable power.
  • The deal raises CoreWeave’s European site total to eight and its global footprint to 49 data center locations.
  • The Stockholm deployment uses CoreWeave-owned NVIDIA Blackwell and Vera Rubin GPU platforms with Quantum-X800 InfiniBand for high-speed training and inference workloads.
  • CoreWeave reported strong Q1 results with $2.1 billion in revenue and more than $40 billion of new customer commitments, but it currently shows about 1 GW of active power versus roughly 3.5 GW contracted.
  • Investors have pulled back from earlier rallies, and analysts warn that fast, capital-intensive rollouts, cash burn, and the pace of converting contracted capacity into active revenue are the key near-term risks to monitor.
