Overview
- The PDI, supported by Prefectura Naval, executed 18 searches tied to narcotics cases across Santa Fe, Sauce Viejo, Esperanza, San Carlos Centro and San Justo.
- Officers detained 14 people and apprehended four others, identified 24 adults and 14 minors, and seized cocaine, marijuana, firearms, ammunition, air guns, phones, scales, vehicles, boats, documents, digital devices and more than 10 million pesos.
- The narcotics investigation is being prosecuted by the Unidad Fiscal de Esperanza with the MPA microtrafficking team following anonymous tips submitted through Esperanza’s Buzón de Vida.
- In a separate extortion case linked to a stolen iPhone, PDI conducted three Santa Fe city raids, identified suspects Gabriel L. D. and Guadalupe M. Z., and seized a 9mm Bersa pistol, 158 rounds, a police-marked vest and multiple electronic devices.
- Detainees were lodged in regional police facilities pending judicial decisions, and all seized items remain under preventive custody for forensic examinations.
