Overview
- Farley pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of first-degree murder in Seneca County Court for killing his cellmate at Five Points Correctional Facility.
- Judge Barry Porsch imposed a sentence of 25 years to life to run consecutively to Farley’s existing 24-years-to-life term for a 2015 murder.
- Prosecutors said Farley strangled Adam Lafferty during the night using a homemade ligature with a metal device and remained in the cell as Lafferty died.
- Lafferty was found dead in their Romulus cell on Dec. 23, 2024, while serving a two-to-seven-year burglary sentence.
- District Attorney John Nabinger urged the New York State Parole Board to deny any future release for Farley.
