Overview
- Contour confirmed on July 22–23 that it will launch two new twice-weekly routes beginning October 5, 2026, including nonstop Dominica (DOM)–Port of Spain (POS) and nonstop St. Thomas (STT)–St. Maarten (SXM).
- The Dominica–Port of Spain service will also include one-stop, same-plane connections from San Juan (SJU) and St. Thomas to POS to simplify travel between Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Trinidad.
- Contour published detailed schedules for both routes with DOM→POS and POS→DOM operating on Mondays/Thursdays and Tuesdays/Fridays respectively, and STT↔SXM running on Mondays and Fridays with afternoon return sectors.
- Flights will use Contour’s 30-seat regional jets with extra legroom and complimentary snacks, and tickets are available on Contour’s site, by phone, through travel agencies, and via interline partners including Alaska, American, JetBlue, United, and Winair.
- Local tourism and airport leaders said the services should boost visitor flows, business links, and onward connectivity through Piarco as a regional gateway, which could increase festival, nature, and business travel and make same-day island connections more practical.
