Overview
- Kaulig Racing announced Friday that NTT IndyCar driver Conor Daly will pilot the No. 25 Ram in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 24.
- Daly said he is excited to race before his hometown crowd in Indiana after leading laps and finishing 12th in this year’s Indianapolis 500.
- Daly has raced in NASCAR before but has limited Truck-series experience, with six Truck starts, a best finish of 17th (Kansas 2024) and a prior 29th-place result at IRP.
- Kaulig’s No. 25 is being run as a ‘free-agent’ truck in 2026, hosting drivers from different disciplines and producing mixed results with AJ Allmendinger delivering the entry’s season-best sixth at Watkins Glen.
- The move gives Kaulig a local marketing boost and a chance to evaluate Daly in stock-style equipment, and it sets expectations that performance will be measured more for exposure and driver assessment than for a championship run.
