  • The dissolution decision was approved at a general shareholders’ meeting on January 13, 2026, with the notice published in Japan’s government gazette on January 29.
  • The notice instructs anyone with claims against the company to apply within two months from the day after publication as part of the liquidation process.
  • Comcept was founded in December 2010 by Keiji Inafune after his departure from Capcom.
  • Level-5 established a separate subsidiary called LEVEL5 Comcept in 2017, and following Inafune’s exit in 2024 the Osaka operations were absorbed into Level-5’s Osaka office while the original Comcept remained a distinct entity until now.
