Colts Sign Penn State Wide Receiver Liam Clifford

The club added a player known for special-teams work to training camp so he can compete for a roster or practice-squad spot.

The Indianapolis Colts officially signed undrafted wide receiver Liam Clifford on Thursday as training camp opened in Westfield, Indiana.
Clifford played at Penn State from 2021–25, appearing in 52 games with 42 catches for 530 yards and one receiving touchdown.
He joined the Colts after taking part in the team's 2026 rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis earlier this offseason.
Clifford has substantial special-teams experience, including 204 career special-teams snaps and a blocked-punt touchdown that figures to boost his value.
The team did not announce a corresponding roster move, so Clifford’s status will be decided through camp performance and could lead to a practice-squad or active-roster spot.
