Colorado Springs Raids Seize More Than 100,000 Fentanyl Pills, Other Drugs and Firearms

• A joint DEA and Colorado Springs Police operation that closed after an eight-month probe executed two search warrants in Colorado Springs, which concluded Tuesday, July 7, and resulted in large seizures and arrests.
• Investigators recovered about 108,000 fentanyl pills plus two gallon-sized bags of powder fentanyl, roughly seven pounds of cocaine and two and a half pounds of methamphetamine.
• Police also seized roughly $100,000 in cash and ten firearms — seven rifles and three pistols — with three of the guns reported stolen.
• Three people — Jacob Tardiff, Martin Medina and Rogerio Barraza-Mendoza — were arrested on narcotics distribution charges at the two homes searched.
