Colorado Springs Authorities Identify Victims in Two February Traffic Deaths

Overview

• The El Paso County Coroner identified 37-year-old Joseph Pagliaro and 67-year-old Michael Davis as the victims in separate February incidents, according to Colorado Springs Police.
• Pagliaro died at the scene on Feb. 6 after his motorcycle t-boned a pickup crossing South Academy Boulevard at Fountain Boulevard, police said.
• The pickup driver in the Feb. 6 crash suffered minor injuries, no charges have been filed, and the major crash team is reviewing whether speed was a factor.
• Police said Davis was struck on Feb. 26 when a car traveled down a hill between Crestone Lane and Motor World Parkway; he was hospitalized and later died.
• CSPD counted Pagliaro’s death as the fifth traffic fatality of 2026, and reported Davis’s case as the seventh, compared with two at this time last year.
