CNN to Count Down America’s 250th With Cooper and Cohen in Times Square

The New Year’s Eve–style special is meant to forge a shared national moment by launching CNN’s daylong July 4 coverage of live reports, fireworks, performances.

  • CNN will air Independence Eve Live with Anderson & Andy tonight, July 3, from 8 p.m. ET to 12:30 a.m. ET, ending with a midnight ball drop in Times Square to mark the start of the semiquincentennial.
