Overview
- The Country Music Association announced Wednesday that Riley Green and Good Morning America host Lara Spencer will co-host “CMA Fest Presented By SoFi,” which airs June 25 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
- CMA Fest runs June 4–7 in downtown Nashville and the event’s Nissan Stadium lineup includes Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Zach Top and Tucker Wetmore.
- The three-hour special is a CMA production presented by SoFi and is executive produced and written by Robert Deaton with Alan Carter directing.
- Riley Green’s high profile coming into the broadcast follows multiple CMA Award wins last November and his announced role as a coach on The Voice, giving the special added promotional weight for his work and collaborators.
- The televised concert continues a long-running CMA summer tradition, packages stadium performances and surprise collaborations for viewers who cannot attend in person, and helps raise funds for CMA Foundation music education programs.
