Overview
- The drivers announced the starts during Sunday’s NASCAR on FOX pre-race show at Talladega, confirming Bowyer for May 15 at Dover and McMurray for June 19 on the San Diego naval-base street course.
- Both will pilot Kaulig Racing’s No. 25 Ram 1500 as part of the team’s Free Agent plan that rotates veteran and guest drivers through select events in NASCAR’s national pickup-truck series.
- Bowyer said he is “pumped” to tackle Dover’s unforgiving concrete oval, while McMurray called the San Diego debut “an incredible experience” that will reward precision on a street layout.
- Bowyer brings 10 Cup wins and three Truck victories in 15 starts to the entry, and McMurray arrives with seven Cup wins and one Truck win with his last Truck start in 2008.
- Kaulig and Ram have used the No. 25 to showcase the brand’s 2026 return, already tapping Tony Stewart, Ty Dillon, Parker Kligerman, Corey LaJoie, Colin Braun, and Carson Ferguson to keep interest high.
