Overview

- An officer forced entry after finding the door blocked from the inside and discovered Flowers on the opposite side of the doorway.
- She sustained at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Officers recovered a firearm inside the apartment, and no other injuries were reported.
