CineLink Publishes Full Co-Production Market and Drama Lineups

The selection widens regional ties and financing by adding a new €10,000 prize and expanded eligibility for projects with Southeast European links while preserving award restrictions.

Overview

  • CineLink has confirmed 16 feature projects and eight drama series for its Industry Days at the Sarajevo Film Festival in August, publishing full lists of titles, creators and co-producers.
  • The market introduced a new €10,000 cash award from the Kosovo Cinematography Centre and will retain returning prizes such as the Eurimages €20,000 development award and several national €10,000 awards.
  • For the first time projects from outside Southeast Europe can join the selection if they have a regional producer, story link, or regional talent, but those entries are explicitly ineligible for CineLink awards.
  • The Co-Production Market selection shows stronger female representation, with nine of the 16 projects directed or co-directed by women and eligibility for the Female Voices Award.
  • The roster includes established names and guest projects presented with partners such as the Doha Film Institute, TV Beats Forum and Cannes’ Critics’ Week Next Step Studio, a move that could broaden co-production pipelines and festival exposure for selected filmmakers.
