  • Cincinnati improved to 14-12 (6-7 Big 12) with its first three-game streak since a 4-0 start, while Utah fell to 9-17 (1-11) with a seven-game slide.
  • Moustapha Thiam posted 15 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, Day Day Thomas scored 16, and Baba Miller added 13 points and eight boards.
  • Utah led by five with 1:56 left on a Keanu Dawes fadeaway before Cincinnati closed with a Thomas jumper, Miller free throws and a go-ahead dunk at 0:40.
