CIF-Southern Section Unveils Boys and Girls Soccer Playoff Schedules With First Round on Feb. 11–12

The Open Division adopts a two-leg, aggregate-score format.

Overview

  • Boys first-round matches are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11, and girls first-round matches for Thursday, Feb. 12, with all games starting at either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m.
  • Boys Open Division first-leg pairings are Palos Verdes (1) at Orange Lutheran (8), Valencia/Paraclete (4) at Cathedral (5), Redondo Union (3) at JSerra (6), and Mater Dei (2) at Mira Costa (7).
  • Girls Open Division first-leg pairings are Santa Margarita (1) at Santiago/Corona (8), Oaks Christian (4) at Palos Verdes (5), Mater Dei (3) at Huntington Beach (6), and Redondo Union (2) at JSerra (7).
  • Second legs in the Open Division are set for Friday, Feb. 13, for boys and Saturday, Feb. 14, for girls.
  • All other divisions across the section will play single-elimination brackets, with full, division-by-division first-round matchups published by CIF-SS.
