Overview
- The First Presidency announced the locations on Jan. 12 and released site maps for both temples.
- The Spanish Fork Utah Temple is planned for the corner of 100 South and 2550 East on an 8.7-acre site, with a multistory building of about 80,000 square feet and an ancillary structure.
- The Beira Mozambique Temple will sit on Avenida 24 de Julho on 2.5 acres, featuring a single-story, roughly 10,000-square-foot temple with patron housing and arrival facilities next to an existing meetinghouse.
- Exterior renderings and construction timelines have not been released, and both projects remain in the planning and design phase.
- Spanish Fork was the last temple announced by President Russell M. Nelson in April 2025, and Mozambique also has a Maputo temple announced in 2024 as membership there nears 32,000 across 10 stakes.
