Overview
- Google is rolling out a desktop-style bookmarks bar in Chrome for Android version 146 for tablets and foldables.
- The bar sits beneath the address field, shows favicons plus site names, and supports folders that open inline.
- An overflow chevron reveals items that do not fit, an All bookmarks entry opens the full bookmarks view, and a long-press shows the full URL.
- Users can enable it via Settings > Appearance > Show bookmarks bar, with the default set to Hidden on narrow screens.
- Availability is staggered, and 9to5Google reports that force stopping Chrome may surface the Appearance menu if the option has not yet appeared.
