Chipotle Opens $2 Million Giveaway for Teachers and Healthcare Workers

The annual campaign pairs recognition of K–12 educators and healthcare staff with app-based donations to the American Nurses Foundation.

Overview

  • The promotion is live with entries accepted through May 12, and 200,000 winners will begin receiving notifications starting May 13.
  • Eligible teachers and healthcare workers enter on Chipotle’s dedicated microsites, must be U.S. residents 18 or older, and, if selected, have 48 hours to verify employment through ID.me.
  • Each prize is a single e-gift card good for one regular entrée such as a burrito, bowl, tacos, salad, or quesadilla, redeemable in stores, on the app, or online.
  • During National Nurses Week, guests can round up their checks in the app or on Chipotle.com to support the American Nurses Foundation, with later round-ups slated for Kids in Need Foundation.
  • Chipotle says the program has given more than $16 million in free food since 2016 and drew record participation in 2025, underscoring the brand’s push to deepen digital engagement.
