China’s Wang Yi to Visit North Korea on April 9–10

The visit signals Beijing’s push to rebuild contact with Pyongyang before a planned U.S.–China summit.

Overview

  • North Korea’s state media said Wednesday that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit from Thursday to Friday at the invitation of the DPRK foreign ministry.
