Overview
- A Hucknall-bound NET tram and an NCT Orange 36 bus collided at the Inham Road stop around 9am on 19 February, derailing the tram and severely damaging both vehicles.
- Firefighters, police and ambulance crews responded; several passengers were treated for minor injuries and East Midlands Ambulance Service transported one patient to hospital.
- NET reports no trams operating between Toton Lane and Beeston Centre on 20 February because power has been switched off to support removal of the damaged tram.
- Replacement options include a dedicated shuttle running between Toton Lane and Bramcote Lane, with NCT Orange line buses accepting NET tickets and passes.
- Nottinghamshire Police say the cause remains under investigation and earlier closed Inham Road to allow scene work and vehicle recovery.
