Chicago Police Probe Separate Shootings That Killed Man, Injured Teen Overnight

• Police say a 24-year-old was shot in the chest around 3:06 a.m. in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue in East Garfield Park, and friends drove him to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
• Witnesses in the West Side case were not cooperating, the victim had not been identified, and no one was in custody.
• In a separate incident around 3:50 a.m., a 14-year-old walking in the 100 block of West 95th Street in Roseland realized he had been shot in the foot.
