Overview
- Spire Motorsports announced on Wednesday that Chase Elliott will pilot the No. 7 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado in the Faith Fest 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway on July 18.
- The start will be Elliott’s first in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since February 2023 and his 19th career Truck race, adding to a resume that includes three Truck wins.
- The entry replaces a North Wilkesboro appearance that had been scheduled for Kyle Busch before his death in May, and follows earlier substitute drives by Corey Day and Rajah Caruth for the No. 7 truck.
- Spire’s No. 7 is run as a multi-driver ‘all-star’ entry that ranks near the top of the owners’ standings and has produced multiple wins this season, including two by Busch.
- The Faith Fest 250 will air on FS1 with radio coverage on the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM, and HendrickCars.com will sponsor Elliott’s No. 7 effort at the historic short track.
