Overview
- MAC unveiled the Chappell Roan Viva Glam campaign on Tuesday with Inez & Vinoodh images, creative direction by Nicola Formichetti, and makeup by Andrew Dahling.
- Roan co-created three limited-edition lip products called UnNatural Red Head, Roan of Arc, and Damnsel that translate her stage personas into wearable shades.
- MAC confirmed a $300,000 gift to Roan’s Midwest Princess Project and named beneficiary groups including the Ali Forney Center, TransLatin Coalition, the GLO Center, and the Campaign for Southern Equality.
- The company said 100 percent of the selling price from the Viva Glam collection will go to Viva Glam charities and that the trio will be available in MAC stores and online on June 11.
- Viva Glam has raised more than $545 million since 1994 and this release places Roan’s high-profile platform and donation at the center of the brand’s Pride-month fundraising and visibility work.
