Changi Airport Sets Passenger Record at 69.98 Million in 2025
Growth was led by China with expanded links to secondary cities.

- Traffic rose 3.4% from 2024, with December the busiest month at 6.3 million and Dec 20 topping 223,000 passengers.
- China was the largest and fastest-growing market with passenger movements up 12.2%, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and India.
- Changi added 13 city links in 2025, including secondary Chinese cities and Singapore’s first direct service to Ulaanbaatar.
- The airport welcomed MIAT Mongolian Airlines and Pelita Air, while JD Airlines, Turkish Cargo and FedEx expanded freighter capacity including a new nonstop to Anchorage.
- Aircraft movements reached 374,000, and airfreight rose 4.5% to 2.08 million tonnes on semiconductor-led demand and early shipment front-loading, as CAG targets 200-plus city links and plans Terminal 5 to lift capacity to 140 million in the mid-2030s.
