- The draw takes place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday, 28 August, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 6pm BST.
- UEFA and TNT Sports will provide free live streams on their websites and YouTube channels, with TNT Sports also showing the ceremony on TV in the UK.
- The computer-assisted process selects two opponents from each of four coefficient-based pots, one home and one away, with no same-association fixtures and a cap of two opponents from any single foreign league.
- Teams play eight league-phase matches under the Swiss-style format, with the top eight advancing directly to the last 16 and places 9–24 entering February play-offs for the remaining berths.
