Overview
- Lucknow Super Giants released leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi ahead of IPL 2026 after retaining him for about INR 11 crore last year and seeing a 2025 return of 9 wickets in 11 matches.
- During a Nov. 28 Instagram Live, Yuzvendra Chahal said he had a “feeling” Bishnoi would join Rajasthan Royals, and Bishnoi replied that he would not go against that feeling.
- Chahal also joked that if Bishnoi ignored the advice he could end up playing only domestic cricket like him, a line widely shared online.
- No move has been announced, and Bishnoi is set to go under the hammer at the one-day mini-auction in Abu Dhabi on December 16, where multiple teams are expected to show interest.
- Despite mixed recent form, Bishnoi has more than 72 IPL wickets and is currently playing for Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
