CCRAS Launches PRAYATNA 2026–27, Research Method Textbook and Digital Dashboard
The moves aim to professionalize Ayurveda research by boosting scientific-writing skills, aligning training with NCISM standards, centralizing research outputs.
Overview
- CCRAS announced the new measures at its fifth Executive Committee meeting on July 3, opening an Expression of Interest for PRAYATNA 2026–27 to train postgraduate and PhD Ayurveda scholars in scientific writing.
- PRAYATNA will run structured, institution-based workshops designed to improve manuscript preparation and publication skills for young Ayurveda researchers.
- The council released a research methodology textbook under the Ayurved Prabodhini Granthamala series authored by 50 scientists and faculty and prepared to match the NCISM outcome‑based curriculum for MD, MS and PhD students.
- CCRAS launched a Digital Ecosystem Dashboard to centralize the council’s online resources, make research outputs more discoverable, and increase transparency of institutional information.
- Officials framed the initiatives as part of a wider push to raise research credibility after recent steps such as 21 NABH/NABL accreditations, the Ayush Diksha platform and international collaborative studies, which could lead to more published evidence and greater academic recognition for Ayurveda.
