Overview

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education published the Class 12 supplementary results on results.digilocker.gov.in and cbse.gov.in, with the announcement made on Wednesday, Aug 12, 2026.
  • CBSE said 291,576 candidates registered for the exams and 275,287 appeared, including 111,056 improvement candidates and 164,231 compartment candidates.
  • Students in the compartment category cleared exams at a rate of 53.08 percent in 2026, up from 38.36 percent in 2025, according to CBSE figures.
  • Digital academic documents and results are available through DigiLocker while printed mark sheets and passing certificates will be supplied to regular students via schools and mailed to private candidates.
  • CBSE will send school-wise results to registered school emails, has given a contact email and regional helplines for queries, and said details of further post-result facilities will be issued in a separate circular.
