CBSE Launches Free Counselling for Class 10 and 12 Ahead of 2026 Board Exams

The multi-channel support targets exam anxiety using a 24x7 helpline, expert counselling plus concise online resources.

Overview

  • Phase one runs from January 6 to June 1, 2026, aligning with the lead-up to CBSE theory papers.
  • The toll-free IVRS helpline at 1800-11-8004 provides round-the-clock support in Hindi and English, including preparation tips and stress management guidance.
  • Tele‑counselling is available on working days from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm with a 73‑member panel comprising principals, counsellors, special educators and psychologists.
  • The panel includes 61 India-based experts and 12 overseas volunteers in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman and the UAE to expand access.
  • CBSE has published concise digital materials on stress management and study strategies and urged students and parents to use them before exams begin on February 17.
